Bettye L. Sellers, 76, of Malone died Friday, August 5, 2016 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Malone, graduate from Malone High School. Bettye retired from Sunland after 36 years of service, she was of the Free Will Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bettye Granger Sims; her husband, Jimmy Electus Sellers in 2002; daughter, Pamela Sellers in 2003; son, Jimmy Ellison Sellers in 2012. Survivors include two granddaughters, Erica Smith (Travis), Kristal Sellers, daughter in law, Paula Carpenter; trusted dogs, Elijah & Cooper, all of Malone, a host of unadopted grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10 A.M.. at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna with Rev. Earl Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Visitation will be Monday, from 5-7 P.M.. at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
